ProposalCentral makes history as the first ORCID certified platform for funders

Altum is pleased to announce that ProposalCentral has been recognized by ORCID as the first certified funder platform. This is the culmination of years of investment and partnership among Altum, ORCID, and the research funders using ProposalCentral.

Scientific Peer Review of the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program for the Department of Defense.

Steve was nominated for participation in the program by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, New York, NY. As a consumer reviewer, he was a full voting member, (along with prominent scientists) at meetings to help determine how the $ 300.000 million appropriated by Congress for Fiscal Year 2017 will be spent on PRMRP research covering 48 topic areas.

Altum contributes to the Research Organization Registry

Altum committed today to helping fund the Research Organization Registry – a community-led project to develop an open, sustainable, usable, and unique identifier for every research organization in the world. Maria Gould, product manager at California Digital Library and ROR project said, “ROR is grateful for the support received from Altum, which will enable us to further develop and sustain the registry in line with community needs.”
